nopal's mission
To provide and inspire an elevated way of living through high quality products and remedies for the mind, body, and home with the Desert Soul and Vibe at the Foundation.
Through inspiration of seeking education and higher comprehension of what people can grow and how it can be used in the different parts of their life is one of Susannah's many passions. This passion has turned into a loving, colorful co-owned business she is apart of and helped found. Farming Flowers- Calhoun Flower Farms. Through floral design Ms. Calhoun creates elevated atmospheres for lush weddings, intimate gatherings, cooperate events (real and virtual) and educating her community on flowers on all levels. In collaboration with five other businesses she's helped create multiple product lists with high-formula, artisan quality offerings nationwide.
From this love of flowers and almost 7 years in the event and farming industry, and business she has just established her own LLC focusing on the wholesome, beneficial uses of plant based beauty using Native plants from the southwest. Nopal LLC
Vintage and Restoration is anther love and hobby turned to passion. Re-selling and auctioning vintage goods with her side hustle (Knox Auctions LLC) is something she does for fun along with running, playing tennis, and painting.
Desert Girl at heart she loves the sunsets, but also the beach. Nopal started as a want and passion to represent the beauty of the desert no matter where she goes. Florida is her second home and was inspired about what grows in both places and how beneficial the South and Southwest's plant eco-systems are.
Nationally published in Rocky Mountain Bride, Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, Glittery Bride, The City Magazine, Neighbors and the Internationally known podcast Slow Flowers with Debra Prinzing one can definitely say creativity and the power of design are apart of her life fabric.
